Texting for Freebies(and other deals)

The ever-growing popularity of texting has advertisers finally getting on board. Companies are now using texting to give special offers to consumers.


Shoptext is a marketing company that frequently has free sample offers for major brands. Registering with Shoptext is not required to receive your samples but will save you extra steps when texting. If you sign up, note that you do not have to enter your credit card information unless you do want to use Shoptext to make actual purchases(which is another service they offer.  

To receive your free sample with Shoptext, simply text a keyword to 467467. You will receive a text back to confirm and occasionally an additional question. Then, wait for your free sample to arrive in the mail.

I just received an email yesterday from Moe's Southwest Grill with a text code to get a $2 off coupon towards one of their new burritos or quesadillas. You can get this coupon too if you text MOES to 46786.
